Portmahomack

Our location

Lying on the shores of the Dornoch Firth, Portmahomack is a place just waiting to be discovered. The village is positioned on the Tarbat peninsula in Easter Ross which sits on the east coast of the “North Coast 500” - a new and exciting circular route around the Highlands of Scotland and named one of the top coastal road trips in the world.

Home to the Tarbat Discovery Centre, a renowned heritage museum, the village also boasts a nine-hole golf course and a variety of places to eat - as well as a pub and a well-stocked shop and Post Office which is open seven days a week.
